Pierre-François Migeotte - Physicist. Founder MedTech - Executive.

I wanted to be an astronaut. That took me to physics, then to a PhD on cardiac physiology in microgravity, then to experiments flown on the ISS with ESA, NASA and ROSCOSMOS. I ran the physics and physiology laboratory at ULB for eight years, along with the international consortium behind those experiments.

The heart eventually won over space. I founded HeartKinetics in 2019 to take AI-based cardiac monitoring out of the lab, and I held the full chain through to 2024: patent transfer, ISO 13485 certified quality management system, €5M raised across equity, debt and non-dilutive grants, a team of sixteen, a partnership with Mayo Clinic. I know what every milestone costs, in months and in cash.

Today I step in as scientific or technical director for MedTech and DeepTech companies that need that level without being able to fund it full time. R&D roadmap, regulatory file, technical side of the fundraise. One to two days a week, three to twelve months.
